A long journey through the world of music gets us closer to this record full of shades, sometimes enhanced by the magic of music, some others focused on its own intimacy; everything is contained in this new album that S'Albaida want to dress up. In it we can find part of the history of Menorca, witness of the life of its ancestors, as well as issues of universal value, love and death, happiness, songs of solidarity and respect to the world around us. And it is, sometimes,a trip through time, presented to us as just ambiguous. Mateixos temps, is all this, making reference at the same time, in a literal sense, to a time gone by in the same way, it is also an expression of Menorca, an adverb that comes to mean 'at the same time', a contraposed idea, that changes all the sense; traditional music is new music as well, it entails issues of out time, of former times, and timeless issues, with a will of remaining this time.

This album has been recorded at Estudis Toni Pastor during the months of November and December 2001. Mixed and mastered by Mateu Picornell at Swing studies on January 2002, both in Palma de Mallorca.
